Thank you for sharing terrific information about the Fairfax Cross County Trail!
You’re welcome! I’m glad it’s helpful.
Do you have a blog topic on pick your own strawberries ? Looking the place to go in April or May
Update: See our complete to: Strawberry Picking in Virginia
We list some pick-your-own strawberry options in our monthly event round-ups. Great Country Farms has a fun Strawberry Festival in late May. And Wegmeyer Farms has 3 Loudoun County locations. Have fun!
Love your blog. We are looking for a great Winter hike for this weekend. We live in Fairfax but wanted to venture to Prince William. Last weekend we took your advice and walked on the the Neabsco Boardwalk. It was nice and just as your described in your blog. Any ideas for hikes in Prince Willliam?
Thank you, Elena! There are four more Prince William County hikes in this list: https://www.funinfairfaxva.com/northern-virginia-hikes-bike-trails/ This is a master list that links to all of our hiking and biking articles.
Scroll down to the section about Prince William County and then click the links for full descriptions of each hike. All of these are fun and interesting trails to hike in the winter, but you will likely hit some muddy spots if we’ve had any rain or snow. Have a wonderful time and happy hiking to you!
Julie
Hi Julie,
Wondering if you’ve been to Rock Creek Park to walk / hike. Thinking about going there.
Hi Elena! I havent been to Rock Creek Park in quite a while and I’m not very familiar with the trails. Great option if you live in DC.
